About this property
Sandy is the ideal family beach house. We spent much of our youth on the Gulf Coast, so we know what families look for in a beach home. We offer a private pool, outdoor hot-and-cold shower, comfortable beds, and enough sit-down dining and sleeping space for 10, including a huge dining table. The house has Gulf views from the front and beach-forest views from the back.
The upstairs main house has a queen bedroom with a private bath and screened porch, the Sea Turtle room, and a day room that closes with acoustical accordion doors. The ground-floor cabin is a second living area: a queen bedroom, a day room with French doors, a full bath, and a kitchenette.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees. Summer stays require a minimum of three nights.

Sandy was inspired by a 1950s family beach house designed by an architect from Mobile. The house combines concrete, stainless steel, cedar, pine, and Ipe, a Brazilian hardwood about as hard as concrete.
The lot sits back from the beach on some of the highest ground on the peninsula, at the dead end of a small road on a water access point. The beach is right there, and a short trail reaches a market. Town is about a 15-minute drive.
